Aim of the study
The
aim of the study is to provide descriptive data on the influence of mass media
on the traditions of the Nguni tribes.
Research objectives
- To analysis how
many people within the Nguni culture have knowledge of their traditions.
- To identify the
negative effects of mass media on the Nguni culture.
- To examine the
extent in which mass media can cultivate an individual’s cultural identity.
- To establish
how mass media can be used to reinforce the practice of native culture and
traditions.
- To identify the
portrayals of Nguni traditions in the media
